Graveside funeral services for Harlan Buzzard were held Dec. 5, 2014, at Shambaugh-Cope Cemetery, Weatherby. Arrangements were by Bram-Turner Funeral Home of Maysville.

Harlan Edgar Buzzard, 75, died Dec. 2, 2014, at his home in Maysville.
Harlan was born Sept. 21, 1939, the son of Elma Edgar and Nellie Mae (Griffey) Buzzard in Grant City,
On Nov. 28, 1958, Harlan and Georgie Ann Smith were united in marriage. To this union three sons were born. Harlan worked at St. Joseph Stockyards, Bird Farms, Sexton Dozing, and retired after 30 years from Labor Local 579.
Survivors include his wife, Georgie, of the home; three sons, Jesse Buzzard (Lucy), Fredericksburg, Va., James Buzzard, Cameron, Jerry Buzzard, Maysville; one brother, Everett Buzzard (Rosie), Union Star; one sister, Donna Sharrah, Gallatin; five grandchildren; and one step-grandchild; and two great-grandchildren.
