Graveside service and interment for Dona Ashworth were held Nov. 25, at the Mooresville Cemetery. Arrangements were by Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton.

Dona Mae Ashworth, 88, Cameron, died on Nov. 21, 2014, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center.
Dona Mae was born near Nettleton on July 28, 1926, and graduated from Gallatin High School in 1945. She was preceded by her husband of 53 years, William J. (Cadillac) Ashworth on Oct. 18, 2008. They had lived in Independence before moving to Cameron in 1990 to be near her brother Dwight McGarvin who was in poor health.
She had been an inspector at the American Can Company, where she worked for 32 years and retired in 1984.
She was also preceded by her parents, Thomas W. and Hazel Gaunt McGarvin; and two brothers, Dwight S., and Thomas Jr. McGarvin.
Survivors include one son, Donald R. Evans and wife Patricia, Holt; two grandchildren, Michelle Smith and Elizabeth Buchholz; and two great-grandchildren, Grace and Joseph Smith.
