Graveside services and burial for Elizabeth Siddens were held Nov. 21, at McFall Cemetery, under the direction of Roberson Funeral Home, Bethany. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Harrison County Hospice in care of Roberson Funeral Home, P.O. Box 46, Bethany, Mo., 64424.

Elizabeth Faye Siddens, 99, Bethany, formerly of Pattonsburg, died Nov. 18, 2014, at a Bethany nursing home.

Liz was born Feb. 6, 1915, in Saybrook, Ill., the daughter of William P. And Grace L. (Kinsell) Imig.

In 1932, she married Herbert P. Ranney.

Liz later married Sherman Siddens of McFall.

She was preceded in death by her son Herbert “Pete” Jr. and her husbands Herbert and Sherman, as well as her parents, brothers, Jack and Wick Imig, sister, Virginia Hanks, granddaughter, Angelia Ranney, and grandson, Chris Ortega.

She labored for a lumber company in Illinois, manning one end of a cross-cut saw; managed a restaurant in Hannibal, worked on a ranch in Arizona, and managed two large apartment complexes in California.

After retiring and moving back to Missouri, she volunteered at the senior center in Pattonsburg.

Survivors include one son, William E. and wife, Cathy, Sun Lakes, Ariz.; one daughter, Lillian L. Ortega and husband, Lee, Bethany; 13 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 17 great-great-grandchildren.
