Michael Hayden, 31, was fatally injured in an accident that happened at about 12:01 p.m. on Nov. 19, in Grundy County.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Mr. Hayden was northbound on Hwy. 128 at Crowder Lake about eight miles northwest of Trenton. He failed to negotiate a curve and the 1993 Ford concrete truck he was driving went into a broadside skid. The truck went off the right side of the road and overturned, coming to rest on its top in Crowder Lake.
Mr. Hayden was pronounced at the scene by Grundy County Coroner Dewayne Slater.
