Bradley Hosman, 23, Kidder, received serious injuries in an accident that happened at about 12:30 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 2, in Daviess County.
According to the highway patrol, Mr. Hosman was northbound on 145th Street about a quarter mile north of Route TT. His 1996 Chevrolet Silverado traveled off the right side of the road, struck a culvert, a barbed wire fence, and a creek bed. The pickup came to rest in the creek bed on its top, facing north.
Mr. Hosman was transported from the scene by a third party to Cameron Regional Medical Center. He was wearing his seat belt.
Mr. Hosman was arrested at 3:11 a.m. for driving while intoxicated, a Class B misdemeanor; and careless and imprudent driving. He was released at the medical center.
The vehicle was totaled.
