Gallatin: The 2nd Annual Haunted Halloween Squirrel Cage Haunted Jail will be presented from 6-10 p.m. on October 24 and 25; 6-11 p.m. on Oct. 31; and 6-10 p.m. on Nov. 1. The James Boys and other cowboy characters will be in the jail for fun antics! Donations are always appreciated.

Daviess Fine Arts Council is presenting Scare on the Gallatin Square Trunk or Treat from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 31. There will be a pumpkin carving contest. Deliver pumpkins to courthouse lawn from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 29. Prizes for best trunk. Trunk setup begins at 5 p.m. on Halloween night.

Winston: 2nd Annual Fall Festival presented by the Winston Historical Society at Winston City Park from 5-9 p.m. on Oct. 31. Food will be served, weather permitting. Early hay ride for the little ones, and a late hay ride for the thrill seekers. Membership Meal Deal is available — any meal of your choice and a 2015 Historical Society membership for $12. Winston School will be holding a Trunk or Treat activity from 5:30 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 28, in the high school. The event is sponsored by the Character PLUS program.

Pattonsburg: Annual Haunted Hay ride sponsored by the Fire Department on October 25. There will be a supper following the hay ride at the Fire Department. Hay ride leaves the fire department building at 6:30. Donations are appreciated.

Jamesport: Tri County High School presents “The Tri County Asylum” for your haunting pleasure. At the high school from 6:30-9 p.m. on Oct. 23 and Oct. 31. Tickets are $5 or $8 for an unlimited wristband.

Jameson: Halloween Truck or Treat will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Oct. 31.
