Two vehicles collided nearly head on about three miles west of Winston around 5:53 p.m. on Oct. 14, according to the Missouri Highway Patrol.

The accident occurred as Kathrine Parker, 40, Jamesport, was southbound on Hwy. 69 driving a 2004 Kia Spectra. Brady Hunt, 38, Weatherby, was stopped in a 2003 Pontiac Montana at the intersection of Topper Road and Hwy. 69. Mr. Hunt pulled out in front of Ms. Parker. Ms. Parker’s vehicle struck Mr. Hunt’s vehicle nearly head on in the southbound lane of Hwy. 69. Both vehicles came to rest in the southbound lane.
Ms. Parker received minor injuries and was taken to Cameron Regional Medical Center by Cameron Ambulance. She was wearing her seat belt. Mr. Hunt declined medical attention. He was wearing his seat belt.
The Pontiac had moderate damage and the Kia was totaled.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. J.P. Lynch, assisted by Daviess Sheriff Department, Cameron and Daviess Ambulances.
