Helen Marie Robertson, 81, of Excelsior Springs and a former resident of Albany, died on Friday, Feb. 21, 2014, at the North Kansas City Hospital.
Helen, the daughter of Homer and Bernice (Hulett) McDaniel, was born Feb. 5, 1933, in Daviess County.
On Dec. 26, 1950, Helen was united in marriage to Edsel Eugene Robertson. He preceded her in death on Oct. 10, 2003.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; son-in-law, Charles Jarvis; six great-grandchildren; and one brother, Garold McDaniel.
Helen worked for the City of Albany before retiring. She was a member of the Heath United Methodist Church of McFall.
Survivors include two daughters, Diana Jarvis, Excelsior Springs, and Kathy (Jerry) Franks, Kearney; two sisters, Norma (Carl) Crone, Pattonsburg, and Nancy (Loren) Carter, Lawson; one brother, Joseph (Joyce) McDaniel, Cameron; four grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
