TRENTON, MO — Entries are being sought for the 2013 North Central Missouri Fair Parade. “Agriculture: Past, Present and Future, Thank a Farmer” is the theme of the parade, which will be held at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30. Categories include the Saddle Club with Largest Number of Horses in Parade, Best-Dressed Saddle Club in Club Colors, Most Unusual Horse-Drawn Vehicle, Best-Matched Horses or Ponies Ridden in Parade, Best-Dressed Horse and Rider – Male/Female, Best Restored Motor Vehicle, Oldest Motor Car or Truck Driven in Parade, Best Restored Tractor Driven in Parade, Oldest Farm Tractor, Best Clown, Best Business Float, Best Non-Business Float, Most Unusual Entry, Oldest Man/Woman, Couple Married the Longest and Largest Family in Parade. Entries are due by Friday, July 26, and can be made by contacting the Trenton Area Chamber of Commerce at 359-4324. The contact person will be notified of a line-up number when the order has been established.
