TRENTON, MO — North Central Missouri College trustees have approved the 2013-2014 budget. The unrestricted account shows revenues and expenditures of $9,327,160, which is less than one-half of a percent increase over last year’s budget. According to information provided by the college, revenue from tuition and fees was based on this year’s enrollment figures with a $1 per credit hour increase in all tuition rates with the exception of dual credit. As was discussed at a previous meeting, the tuition increase will offset the cost of graduation, so students will no longer be charged a separate graduation fee. State aid was discussed and it appears, at this time anyway, that the aid will be 4.3% greater than the amount actually received from the state during the 2012-2013 fiscal year. It was also noted that, for the second year in a row, there is no increase in retirement contribution rates.
