SUMNER, MO — Swan Lake National Wildlife Refuge announces a slate of family activities for Friday July 5. Free hotdogs will be provided by AgriServices of Brunswick as well as the Tower Tours, and displays at the visitor’s center include a beehive, Streambox, and Turtle touch tank. There is even a prairie grass maze you can get lost in! All of these activities start at 5pm. Special events start at 6 p.m. with an encore performance by the Currey Korn Family Bluegrass Band. Following the Currey family is award-winning magician Keith Leff of Magic Creations. Keith has been amazing audiences for over 20 years, and has been voted Kansas City’s “Best Magician” three years in a row. Swan Lake NWR is located one mile south of Sumner, MO, and managed by the US Fish and Wildlife Service as a unit of the National Wildlife Refuge System.
