SAVANNAH, MO — The City of Savannah has appointed Bruce Lundy as interim city administrator. Lundy fills the slot vacated by Jill Cornett, who quit to take a job with Lake Lotawana. Lundy is currently a lieutenant with the Savannah Police Department. He was a finalist for the position of city administrator in 2008 before he voluntarily withdrew from consideration. The city eventually hired Mike Fisher at that time. Lundy is a graduate of Savannah High School and holds a degree in criminal justice with a minor in psychology. He graduated from college in 1993 and served over 10 years as chief deputy in the Andrew County Sheriff’s Department.
