HAMILTON, MO — All necessary easements for the installation of a 6-inch water supply pipeline have been donated by landowners and organizations to bring water from Lock Springs to Hamilton. Plans are for the pipeline to be constructed from Route M to Hamilton. Those donating include George Alden, Claire Lee, Phyllis Monteleone, Gretchen Reith, Joni Loxterman, Weegee Coffman, Jim and Marlene Mogg, the American Legion, Hamilton R-2 School District, and Raymond and Lotta Shotto. Ordinances required to borrow money and apply for USDA grants and loans have been approved by the Hamilton city council, including an ordinance for an August revenue bond election for the water project.
