MILAN, MO — In the past year, a total of 45 improvement projects have been completed, contributing to downtown revitalization at Milan, thanks to a generous donation by Martha Bogard. Two buildings on the southeast corner of the square have been demolished, paving way for the construction of an amphitheater venue. The city secured a state grant for the construction of handicapped/non-handicapped walking trail; another State Transportation Program grant is funding sidewalk replacement. Strategic planning continues for more community improvements.
