BETHANY, MO — Crestview Home, one of the largest nursing home facilities in the region, is observing its 50th anniversary. The Crestview Home grew out of the old Harrison County Home. A cornerstone placement in 1962 marked its official start, and doors to the home opened a year later. At that time Crestview was an 80-bed facility managed by a 13-member board. In 1974 voters approved a $450,000 bond to construct a building addition completed two years later. Today, Crestview is a 122-bed skilled nursing facility and also has 24 beds in the residential care facility apartments. Room rates are $149 daily for a skilled bed and $72 for a single RCF apartment. Daily rates include laundry, light housekeeping, activities, nursing care and meals.
