BETHANY, MO — Advanced Disposal, which recently purchased Veolia Environmental Services, will take over the City of Bethany’s recycling program. Advanced plans to move recycling bins located at 14th Street and Bechaman to its transfer station on Roleke Road in East Bethany. The city had supervised the collection of recyclable material at the drop-off location in recent years, with volunteers assisting in collecting items on Saturday mornings. The Advanced facility will be open weekdays from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and employees will be available on Saturday mornings to help persons bringing their newspapers, plastics, cans and cardboard for recycling.
