TRENTON, MO — The Missouri Department of Economic Development has announced that the Trenton Downtown Improvement Association has been approved for state tax credits under the Neighborhood Assistance Program. The approved projects are part of approximately $6.6 million approved in the second round of NAP applications for FY 2013. The TDIA has been approved for $312,281 in NAP tax credits. The NAP tax credits will allow the association to establish a revolving loan fund for facade and building improvements for businesses in downtown Trenton. Working with downtown business owners to revitalize the area, the organization will coordinate downtown renovations, administer revolving loans, and provide education and training to borrowers.
