CHILLICOTHE, MO — The entry deadline for the “North Missourians at Work and Play” photo contest is 5 p.m. Thursday, April 18. The contest is sponsored by the Chillicothe Area Arts Council. The juried contest includes three age divisions: youth 18 and under, adult professional (earns money through photography), and adult amateur. Monetary prizes will be awarded for the top three places in each age division. A $5 entry fee will be charged for each photo entered (fee waivered for those in youth division). Entries will be judged on creativity, technical ability, and aesthetic value. The photos may be taken with any sort of camera, including a phone. Photos must have been taken between April 2012 and April 18, 2013.
