Representatives from the North Central Missouri Regional Water Commission endorsed State Rep. Casey Guernsey’s proposal to include existing water projects, water consortiums, and existing lake projects throughout Northwest and North Central Missouri in the House bonding proposal. A presentation was recently made before the House Appropriations Committee, emphasizing the need for Missouri counties to interconnect and improve infrastructure especially made critical during the drought of 2012. Those endorsing the proposal also represented East Locust Creek Lake.
