CHILLICOTHE, MO — About 50 students from 13 communities participated in the Youth Talent Contest sponsored by the Chillicothe Area Arts Council recently. The juried contest was funded in part by the Missouri Arts Council. Four professional judges and eight arts council volunteers helped with the event. Prizes were given for first, second and, in some cases, third place with contestants divided into age groups in vocal and instrumental performances.
