ST. JOSEPH, MO — The Rocky Mountain Elk Foundation fundraiser banquet and auction is slated for March 16, 2013 at Moila Shrine Temple, 701 North Noyes Blvd in St. Joseph. The evening begins with a cocktail social hour at 5:30 p.m. and dinner at 7 p.m., followed by a live auction for world-class wildlife art, hunts, fishing trips, firearms, unique collectibles and more. This is the 16th annual big game banquet that the chapter has hosted in St. Joseph. Featured prizes at the upcoming event include the 2013 Banquet Edition Rifle, Browning A-Bolt White Gold Medallion, .300 Win Mag that will be raffled. Also, The Potterfield Family Foundation, Larry and Brenda Potterfield, MidwayUSA have generously sponsored the Weatherby Vanguard Series 2 Youth Package, .243 Win for the banquet. Live auction items will include a 4×4 ATV, Peak wood burning camp stove, Davis Tent 14’ x 16’ wall tent, optics, numerous firearms, 2013 Silverado 1500 4WD Extended Cab LT truck sponsored by Randy Reed Chevrolet, Liberty FatBoy Jr. gun safe sponsored by Derr Equipment, fishing vacation, elk hunts, home accents and much much more. Tickets are $65 per person, $95 per couple and free for youths 12 and under.
