CAMERON, MO — The Cameron R-1 Board of Education approved implementation of the A+ Program for the high school. Right now there are 402 high schools in Missouri that have the designation and 127 that do not. What used to be a 2-year application process, however, can now be accomplished by graduation in May, 2014. The A+ Program requires six different criteria to be met by the high school. Students who successfully complete the six requirements are eligible for tuition reimbursements at participating public community colleges or vocational/technical schools and certain private vocational/technical schools in the state. The A+ Program will be implemented at Cameron R-1 High School during the 2013-14 school year.
