AGENCY, MO — The Agency Community Center and the Agency Ford Museum will sponsor the 13th Annual Indian Artifact Show on March 2, 2013, from 10am to 4pm. The event is held at the Agency Community Center; admission is free. Donations to cover the cost of the show will be appreciated. Food and drink will be available for purchase. Artifact expert Ron Martin will be at the show to provide free identification and appraisal of “finds” brought in by the public. Persons interested in exhibiting their collections may call organizers, Keith and Sharon Rumpf, at (816) 253-9301 to reserve a table. Exhibitor’s fee is $10 which will be refundable the day of the show. Exhibitors are required to show only authentic Indian artifacts. Last year there were 30 exhibitor tables at the show. The Agency Ford Museum located on the 2nd floor of the community center will be open. Admission is free. The museum contains relics and photos of early Agency, rural life and memorabilia from the time when the community center building served as a school. Agency is located 6 miles southeast of St. Joseph. From the I-29 exit for Hwy 169 travel east ½ mile to FF and turn south to Agency. From the I-29 Faucett exit take service road 43 north to Route H. Turn east (right) and travel 6 miles to Agency. From Hwy 169 at Gower take Route H west and travel 11 miles to Agency.
