Code enforcement officer to begin at Trenton

TRENTON, MO — Donald “Donnie” Vandevender is now employed as Trenton’s code enforcement officer. Vandevender has over 35 years of construction and management building experience of residential structures and light commercial construction work. For the past three years he has served as the code enforcement officer, zoning administrator and flood plain administrator for the City of Chillicothe. Vandevender holds an associate degree in mid-management and construction technology from NCMC as well is a certified International Code Council Residential and Commercial Building inspector and does plan review. Additionally, he holds a certification in floodplain management. Vandevender will begin his duties in Trenton on Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at a starting salary of $35,000.
