ALBANY, MO — Professional vocalist Louise Mandrell will sing during a free Christmas concert at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at the Albany First Baptist Church, located at 805 West Highway 136. Mandrell occasionally performs at churches as a Christmas gift. She and three-time Musician of the Year pianist Jeff Stice will perform a variety of music. Mandrell often performs “Little Drummer Boy” which is one of her favorites because she plays the drums. Louise drew fame performing with her sisters, Barbara and Irlene. This past summer Louise played the title role of Calamity Jane in a production at Fresno, CA. Sharing her music this Christmas at Albany comes in large part from her friendship with John and Joyce Worrell.
