TRENTON, MO — The Green Hills Regional Planning Commission (GHRPC) has rebounded from severe financial difficulties and continues to attract federal and state funds and programs to enhance the quality of life for citizens of 11 north central Missouri counties. During its annual meeting on Nov. 29 held on the campus of North Central Missouri College, Executive Director Randy Railsback noted how GHRPC has attracted over $365 million to the region during the past decade to address a number of public infrastructure needs and encourage economic development through various grant and loan programs. GHRPC services Caldwell, Daviess, Harrison, Grundy, Mercer, Putnam, Sullivan, Livingston, Linn, Chariton and Carroll counties — the largest geographic planning commission region in Missouri.
