Unexpected crowd confronts postal officials at Jamesport

JAMESPORT, MO — Over 50 people crowded into the lobby of the Jamesport Post Office to hear what postal officials had to say about future operation of the local post office here. Although many questions were asked, the officials were not prepared to address such a large gathering and failed to focus specifically on the Jamesport Post Office prior to the meeting. The officials, however, assured the group that the post office would remain open but that the amount of hours of business operation are being reviewed.
