Hamilton’s sleeping offense awoke with 28 unanswered points in the second half and the Hornets, ranked #1 in Class 1, defeated Gallatin 41-13 to move to Monday night’s District 8 title game. Hamilton will take on Polo, which upset South Harrison tonight in Bethany.
Gallatin surrendered two big plays that set up a pair of Hornet touchdowns in the first half, but the Bulldogs got on the board with a Zach Lollar to Chad Ness pass with four-tenths of a second left in the half. Gallatin added a late touchdown in the fourth quarter on a Brandon Bradley 23-yard run. The Bulldogs’ season ended at 7-4.
