BRECKENRIDGE, MO — A Caldwell County deputy recently stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation in this small community and a vehicle search revealed 62 vases that were allegedly stolen from graves in area cemeteries. Arrested in the incident were Joseph Davis, 23, and Sean Stretch, 24, both of Breckenridge. Both were charged with receiving stolen property (Class C felony) and destruction or defacing a private cemetery (Class A misdemeanor). Legal proceedings have been continued to Nov. 1 after bond was set at $30,000 cash.
