HARRISON COUNTY, MO — The Missouri Nature Conservancy rounded up 44 bison at the Dunn Ranch near Eagleville for vaccinations. The animals were vaccinated and tested for brucellosis and also treated for symptoms of pink eye and dewormed while being checked out by veterinarians. Several members of the Nature Conservancy from the St. Louis and Kansas City areas as well as personnel from the St. Louis office attended the roundup. Seven bulls were culled from the herd and sent to Kansas and Iowa to replenish stock in those herds. Ten bison at the Dunn Ranch have been fitted with GPS collars for tracking purposes.
