Maysville, MO — Fundraising efforts are underway to finance the display of a very emotional photo exhibit entitled “Remembering Our Fallen.” This is a traveling exhibit that costs approximately $800 for a local stop. If the money is raised, the display will be scheduled at Maysville R-1 School from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 5-9, 2012. The Maysville FCCLA Chapter seeks 16 sponsors, each asked to donate $50, so that the display may be presented free to the public. This is a stark reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by over 130 Missourians killed in the War on Terror while wearing a military uniform. The exhibit was unveiled July 31, 2011, at the State Capitol Rotunda in Jefferson City at which time the families of the fallen veterans were the first to see the display.
