TRENTON, MO — North Central Missouri College will be adding to its downtown real estate holdings following action taken during a recent meeting of college trustees. Trustees voted to purchase property at 1201 Main St. at a cost of $65,000. The property, owned by Sharon Ferris, contains a building that will be used for storage in the shortterm, but the property is seen as part of the overall master plan of the college and its acquisition will help the institution achieve long-term development goals. It was noted that a grant will be sought to remove underground storage facilities on the site. The closing date for the purchase of the property is set for Monday, Oct. 15, 2012.
