KING CITY, MO — Bill White has become a familiar talent in the King City area. After a 22 year career in the U. S. Air Force, Bill settled in Easton. He has preached and sang in many King City area churches. He has also volunteered for many activities at the King City Manor. Bill has told stories for the Living History Days and at the King City elementary school for five years, but this year marks a new chapter in Bill’s life. In cooperation with another local talent, illustrator Anna Garlock, they have published a new children’s book, “The Courtship of Posey O’Possum.” Family and friends have encouraged Bill to publish some of his ideas for many years. Using years of experiences from being raised in the Ozarks, 42 years in the ministry, and his military background, Bill is drawing from these experiences to produce an interesting array of stories. Hopefully “The Courtship of Posey O’Possum” is only the first of many books that he will publish.
