CHILLICOTHE, MO — The local EAA Chapter 944 is hosting the 20th Annual Chillicothe Fly-In on Saturday, Aug. 18, 2012.
EAA is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit, volunteer educational organization whose primary goal is to make aviation education and experiences available to youth. A variety of activities begin at 7 a.m. at the Chillicothe Airport.
EAA has awarded eight $1,000 scholarships plus were able to send two youth to Advanced Air Academy in Oshkosh, WI, last July. Aaron Herring of Trenton was the scholarship recipient, while Micah Blakey of Brookfield and Tyler Bryan of Yankton, S.D., were academy recipients.
