Jessica Lynn Hartley and Mr. Oluwaseun Samuel Sodeke were united in marriage in an intimate afternoon ceremony on Loving Day, Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at the historic Grand Hall in Lincoln, Neb.

The ceremony was officiated by Pastor Brian Thomas. Mrs. Jacqueline LeAnn Bauer, the bride’s sister, served as Matron of Honor, and Mr. Ayotunde Gabriel Sodeke, the groom’s brother, served as Best Man.

The bride is the daughter of Gregg and Lisa Hartley of Pattonsburg, and the late Jerry Findley of Albany. The groom’s parents are Olatunji and Fowoke Sodeke of Lagos, Nigeria.

Jessica grew up in Pattonsburg and is a graduate of Pattonsburg R-2. After high school, she attended Northwest Missouri State University in Maryville and earned bachelor’s degrees in journalism and marketing of merchandising, furnishings and textiles. Samuel graduated from Loral International School in Nigeria. He relocated to the United States in 2003 and earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in marketing, and an MBA in marketing from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Neb.

The newlyweds live in Lincoln, Neb. Jessica works for News Link as a journalist and travel liaison and has her own photography company, (heart) LEE MARC. Samuel is in car sales at Performance Volkswagen in LaVista, Neb.
