Hail to the whopper!

Steve Adkison of Jameson caught this 69.5-pound, 50-inch Blue cat in the Grand River on June 5^th. Steve baited an 8-foot Shakespeare rod, 4000 Eagle Claw reel, 17-pound test line with shrimp to catch the monster. "I had to take him to MFA to weigh him," Steve said, "and since he had been out of the water for two hours, I figure he actually weighed close to 75 pounds when he came out of the water. I knew he was big, but I was shocked that he was THAT big!"
