Duane Martin "Sonny" Mosel, 62, Turney, died on May 16, 2012.
Sonny was born on May 17, 1949, in Norfolk, Neb., to Martin and Fern (Scheer) Mosel.
He was preceded in death by his father, Martin; and two sisters, Mary Ann Mosel and Marcia Clark.
He was a member of the Rock of Ages Lutheran Church, Kansas City.
On Aug. 12, 2000, Sonny married Judy K. Wyant.
Survivors include his wife, Judy, of the home; son, Martin "Bud" Mosel, Turney; daughter, Anna Henry, Lathrop; mother, Fern Mosel, Turney; step-children, Jamie Stewart, Independence, Kara Daud, Kansas City, Tristan Sales, Lawson, and Gary Wyant, Smithville; one brother, George Mosel, Turney; three sisters, Ellen Hiskett, Gallatin; Karen Kennedy, Turney, Fern Bradshaw, Lathrop; 18 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
