Laureate Delta Rho met May 7 at Linda Bridgeman’s home with 14 members present. Carol Wood reviewed plans for the state convention to be held in Kansas City in October. Members are encouraged to attend.

Notes of gratitude were read from Carol Weaver and Kay Kordes. Officers were installed and committee assignments were announced for the new year. Natasha Irby is the winner of the Jean Groom Memorial Scholarship for next year. Founder’s Day was enjoyed by all at a dinner in Cameron. Decisions concerning Girls’ State and continuing our scholarship will be made at the next meeting. Nancy Salmon will host the salad supper on May 21. Members will meet at Barton’s at 6:15 to car pool.
