Kevin Kordes, 51, Rolla, formerly of Gallatin, was fatally injured in a one-car accident that happened at about 11:50 a.m. on Thursday, April 26.

According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Kordes was driving a 1995 Isuzu Trooper when he traveled off of the right side of Route E about eight miles north of Rolla. He overcorrected and the vehicle returned to the roadway and overturned. Kordes, who was not wearing his seat belt, was ejected.
The accident was investigated by Tpr. Mathew Goodson.
