Mary Green, 26, Newtown, was charged April 17 with possession of methamphetamine at the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail. Officers found the meth during a search of the women’s housing facility. Bond was set at $35,000.

Zachary White, 21, Cameron was charged April 17 with felony assault, which occurred at the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail when White struck another inmate on the head with a food tray. Bond was set at $35,000.

William Ellsworth, 30, King City, was charged April 17 with misdemeanor assault third degree, which occurred at the regional jail. Bond was set at $1,000.

Carlos Sage, 40, Kansas City, was charged April 12 with misdemeanor assault 3rd degree, while in custody at the regional jail. Bond was set at $1,000.

Adam Justus, 20, Maysville, was charged April 12 with felony property damage and attempt to conceal prohibited item at jail, and misdemeanor attempt to conceal prohibited item and theft. Bond is set at $60,000.

Matthew Rogers, 22, Lee’s Summit, was charged April 18 with felony attempt to escape from confinement and property damage at the regional jail.

Michael King, 33, Kansas City, was charged April 14 with failure to appear on a misdemeanor charge of passing bad checks. He is being held on $1,000 bond.

Sandra Parrish, 26, Cameron, was arrested April 16 on an Adair County warrant for speeding. She posted bond of $195.

Jared Curtis, 18, Gallatin, was charged April 15 with misdemeanor domestic assault. He is being held on $750 bond.

Ricky Baldwin, 25, Winston, was arrested April 16 on a Buchanan County warrant for felony non-support. He is being held on $1,000 bond.

David Shiner, 20, Trenton, was charged April 16 with felony accessory to forgery. He is being held on $15,000 bond.

Bond was revoked for Matthew Whitlock, 22, Jamesport, on April 16. He was originally charged with no valid license. He is being held on $25,000 bond.

Bond was revoked April 10 for Billy Catron, 50, Winston, who is charged with receiving stolen property. He is being held on $65,000 bond.

County Commission

James Lewis, bridge supervisor, met with the commission reporting that they will install a metal culvert in Sheridan Township and make repairs to a bridge in MarionTownship this week.

Bills were audited and paid.

Bill Homann, representative of Premium Standard Farms, met with the commission updating them on plans to add a site this year in Monroe Township.

David Allen, bridge department, met with the commission reporting that he is still working in Benton Township removing brush.

Kathy Youtsey, LibertyTownship, contacted the commission regarding access to her property. The county will replace a bridge with a metal culvert. They also discussed needed repairs on 165th Street. The commission will contact the Daviess County Special Road District.

At 11 a.m., the commission met with the Local Emergency Planning Commission.

In the afternoon, the commission inspected roads in Jefferson, Liberty and Sheridan Townships. They inspected the new bridge on 105th Street, and brush letters will be sent in Liberty and Sheridan Townships.

Circuit Court

The following cases were heard by Judge Thomas Chapman on April 10, 2012:

Probation was revoked on a suspended imposition of sentence for Scott Eric Craig, on a class D felony charge of drug paraphernalia. He was sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections.

A warrant was issued for Christina Osbon for a probation violation on a C felony of forgery. Bond was set at $2,500.

Margo W. Smith had been tried by the court in March, 2011, for felony passing bad checks. She failed to appear for sentencing, and a warrant was issued for her arrest. She was sentenced to seven years in the Department of Corrections, and the court retains jurisdiction for 120-day callback.

Probation was revoked for Bennie Brown Jr. for possession of controlled substance. His previously imposed sentence of seven years was ordered executed.

Mark A. and Heidi L. Pettit appeared for probation violations, each on a charge of filing a false Missouri tax return. Probation was continued for Mark with modifications. Probation was continued for Heidi with the condition of 48 hours jail shock time.

David Duane Karstens plead guilty to the class B felony of DWI and to the D felony of no valid license. A sentence assessment report was ordered.

Johnny S. Wooten III plead guilty to an amended charge of possession of controlled substance, class C felony, and to the class A misdemeanor of drug paraphernalia. A sentence assessment report was ordered.

Cristina Lyn Curtis had plead guilty on Feb. 15 to three counts of felony forgery. She received a suspended imposition of sentence and five years probation.

A bond revision for Joseph L. Loucks was denied, who is charged with failure to register as sex offender.

Johnathan Arron Corwin plead guilty to an amended charge of possession of controlled substance, class C felony, and to drug paraphernalia, class A misdemeanor. A sentence assessment report was ordered.

On a plea agreement, Angela Crockett plead guilty to four felony counts of passing bad checks. She was sentenced to seven years in the Department of Corrections, execution of sentence suspended, on one count. On each of the other three counts, she received a suspended imposition of sentence and five years probation. Two felony counts and 12 misdemeanor counts of passing bad checks were dismissed, and she was ordered to pay restitution of $6,041.

Tabatha Renee Archuletta plead guilty to class C felony possession of controlled substance, and a sentence assessment report was ordered.

Brittany Michelle Thomas was granted a change of venue to Livingston County on a felony charge of forgery.

Gary D. Hassler plead guilty to a misdemeanor charge of passing bad checks, amended from a felony. He was sentenced to five days in the regional jail with credit for time served.

Probation was revoked for Joseph J. Taub on a B felony charge of possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute. The suspended imposition of sentence was revoked and he was sentenced to four years in the Department of Corrections.

A jury trial was set for Aug. 27, 2012, for Randall Lee Comstock for DWI, class D felony.

Cases bound over from the Associate Division to the Circuit Court: State vs. Jared Howell, attempted forcible rape, unclassified felony, sexual abuse, class C felony; State vs. Larry Hadley, class C felonies of theft and theft of a firearm; and State vs. Mary Francis Bass, DWI, persistent offender, class D felony.

Civil cases filed: Bank Northwest vs. Allen and Diana King, promissory note; Wheeler et al vs. Wheeler et al, quiet title.
