To move Chautauqua … or not to move it? That is the question. The Daviess County Fine Arts Council is asking your opinion concerning the location of this fall’s Chautauqua activities.

On the slate of events for the 2012 Chautauqua is a car show and a carnival. The committee had tentatively decided to move Chautuauqua activities to Dockery Park this year in order to accommodate these two events. However, a recent offer from Wideband Corporation to allow their property to be used for the carnival has brought the decision into question. Wideband is located just west of the Gallatin square on West Grand Street.
