During their meeting held Friday, Feb. 24, the board of the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail heard that Turnkey is installed and all is going well; the Iris Scanner is installed and going well; and the generator is installed and working.

There is still no news from the roof contractors.

In other business at the meeting, Ed Howard read the financial report. CD account at BTC $823,563.52, Sales Tax Account $146,144.94, Operating Account $79,347.58, Payroll Account $4.78. Commissary grossed $19,801.15. Accounts Receivable balance is $17,017.00, Accounts Payable balance is 13,982.27. The board discussed contacting Lincoln and Pike Counties again concerning housing. They are undecided as to keeping their jail open or housing out their prisoners.
