Plans were finalized for the care center birthday party at 1:30 p.m. on Feb. 23. Sue Gillilan reported on the Girls State finalist, Avery France. All four chapters are helping to sponsor Avery for the coming summer session. The chapter is donating money to the prom lock-in. Carol Weaver discussed a future fund-raiser for the chapter. After the business meeting, Anna Barton presented a short program followed by a Mardi Gras party. The next meeting will be March 19 at Peggy Noel’s home.
