FBLA students from Gallatin High School will now advance to state competition after performing in the top 10 at District I FBLA Leadership Conference held on Thursday, Feb. 16, at Northwest Missouri State University. Over 700 students took part in the District Conference. Gallatin High School had 51 members compete in a wide range of events.
The following students received either first or second place in the competition and will be representing Gallatin R-5 at the State Leadership Conference in Columbia on April 22-24 at the Holiday Inn Executive Center: Parliamentary Procedures – Mattie Burge, Michael Youd, Jack Malo, Bailey Morrison, Kailey Elbert 1st; Job Interview – Bethany Harris 1st; Intro to Business Communication – Bailey Morrison 2nd; Mr. FBL – Michael Youd 1st; Ms. FBL – Mattie Burge 1st; Public Speaking I – Aubrey Nelson 1st; Public Speaking II – Mattie Burge 1st; Network Design – Tyler Carder, Cody Rhoades, and Chris McNickle 1st; Business Plan Project – Lauren Taylor, Ashley Burns, and Hannah Boyd 1st; Word Processing II – Chad Robertson 1st; Intro to Parliamentary Procedures – Sara Lin 1st & Macon Allen 2nd.
