Maysville top D16 seed

The Lady Bulldogs close the season at home on Friday against the Lathrop Lady Mules before jumping into Class 2, District 16 action next week at Albany High School.

Maysville’s state-ranked (#6) girls come in as the strong district favorite, having lost only three times to state-ranked teams, twice to #8 Class 3 Hamilton and again to #3 Class 2 North Platte.

Gallatin was awarded the #5 seed in the district bracket and will face #4 DeKalb at 5 p.m. on Tuesday for the right to meet top-seeded Maysville on Thursday. In a district comparison, DeKalb beat Polo by two points. Polo defeated Gallatin by six in a game close to the end.
