Roy M. Linville, 97, Hamilton, Mo., passed away on Feb. 16, 2012, at the Cameron Regional Medical Center. He had previously lived in Daviess County, Mo., before moving to Hamilton in 1945.

Roy was born on July 12, 1914, in Gallatin, to Sinyard and Nettie Place Linville. He had attended the Swisher School. He had been a farmer and electrician.
On Oct. 29, 1939, he married Dorothy P. Ramsbottom in Gallatin, Mo. She preceded him in death in 1993. He was also preceded by his parents; sisters, Elsie Brown and Gladys Hawkins; and brothers, Hardy and Everett Linville.
Survivors include his son, Phares (Joyce) Linville, Hamilton; granddaughter, Melinda (Alan) Bradford, Gallatin; grandchildren, Hattie and Haden Bradford; and one brother, Archie Linville, Gallatin; two sisters-in-law, Maxine Linville and Doris Linville both of Gallatin and numerous nieces and nephews.
He enjoyed fishing and his flowers.
Visitation was held one hour prior to the service, at Bram Funeral Home, Hamilton. Graveside service and Interment was on, Monday, Feb. 20, at Highland Cemetery, Hamilton. Services were conducted by Bram Funeral Home in Hamilton, Mo., www.bramfuneralservices.com
