Shelia Bridgman, 64, Gallatin received minor injuries in an accident that happened at about 2:20 p.m. on Feb. 6, one mile west of Gallatin on Hwy. 6.
According to a report by the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Dale Christensen, 63, Jameson, was eastbound on Hwy. 6 while Bridgeman was westbound. The Christensen vehicle, a 2011 Chevrolet pickup, entered the westbound lane and struck the Bridgman vehicle, a 2011 Dodge, head on.
Bridgman was taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Cameron Regional Medical Center. She was wearing her seat belt.
Both vehicles were extensively damaged.
The accident was investigated by Cpl. L.M. Newman, assisted by Sgt. M.A. Wilhoit, Tpr.J.M. Cross, Tpr. S.J. Cool, Daviess County Sheriff’s Office and the Gallatin Fire Protection District.
