Do you need a space to host your next event? Whether it be a party for a special event, host a meeting, have a party to help sell your favorite product, or a session for a business or job-related project, the Daviess County Library has a great community room available to the public. The large room located in the basement of the library at 306 West Grand, has a capacity of 125 people and is ADA compliant, with a large parking area.

The community offers a banquet two-tier serving table with skirt, four feet, six feet and eight feet folding tables, 100 folding chairs, podium, three sizes of coffee makers, punch bowl with 27 clear plates and 28 cups, dinner plates with matching mugs, and various table coverings, both plastic and cloth. A TV, VCR/DVD player, projector screen, and wireless internet connection are available upon request.
Cooking, crock pots or hot catered meals are not allowed, but light refreshments such as cold cuts, salads, desserts can be served. Also, no alcoholic beverages or smoking is allowed on the premises.
Reservations are made by contacting the library at 663-3222. The rental charge is $25 per day, plus a $25 clean-up fee, refundable if cleaning is completed as described. Renter must be 21 years old and is responsible for setting up, taking down, and cleaning of tables and chairs. For more information call the library at 660-663-3222.
