Charles Mercer, 61, McFall, died Jan. 17, 2012, at his home.
Charles, the son of Charles and Catherine (Kelewets) Mercer, was born Oct. 31, 1950, in Chicago, Ill.
He was a retired lineman for the railroad.
Survivors include one daughter, Catherine Mercer, Winfield, Ill.; and two sisters, Irene Lolans, Crystal Lake, Ill., and Pat Stanek, Atlanta, Ga.
