A Trenton teenager received moderate injuries in an accident that occurred at about 8:14 p.m. on Jan. 12, in Daviess County.

Christian Briegel, 18, Trenton, was northbound on Hwy. 190 about four miles south of Jamesport. He lost control on the ice covered roadway and traveled off the right side of the roadway. His 1993 Ford Ranger overturned onto the driver’s side and came to rest on top of a barbed wire fence.

Christian was taken by Daviess County Ambulance to Wright Memorial Hospital in Trenton with moderate injuries. He was wearing his seatbelt.

His Ford Ranger was totaled.

The accident was investigated by Sgt. Mark Ott, assisted by the Daviess County Sheriff’s Office, Jamesport First Responder and Tpr. Nicholas Greiner.
